Sinful Desires

Anna woke up to a bright, sunny, blue, Italian day. Today was her twentieth birthday and in a few hours the most esteem crime families would be gathering at the manor to celebrate it at her party. Even now Anna imagine the cake cook was baking down stair in the kitchen just for her. The piles and piles of presents her father was sure to have bought her. Anna could imagine it all, her sister looking just as beautiful as her. Ton & tons of guys fanning all over her, their father sitting at the head of the table enjoying himself. Anna could see it all. She would have lain there longer but an unknown heavy object decided to make its presence know at that moment by landing on top of her. "Angela?" Anna giggled, as she looked down at her little sister.

.... At least the sunny disposition will make this a more confident day.... was the first thoughts of the young Vassilis heir, leisurely applying steady pressure on the accelerator pedal, the speedometer stick started to ascend up to greater numbers. Sure, starting the day by delivering the drugs was successful, but there were some loose ends that needed tied up. They were daily customers, on every-so-often basis, demanded the drugs. Vincent personally thought it was use less; driving a vehicle to deliver drugs was a little too lazy for him, nothing much too adrenaline-rushing moments. But, he wouldn't let a sign of disappointment cross his face, in the presence of his father, nor the rest. He slowed the car to an idle speed, as he pulled into a somewhat large driveway to the large building. He glanced up into the rearview mirror, his eyes scanning his younger brother silently glancing around in the backseat. He pulled up to the driveway and parked the vehicle in his favorite car. He killed the car’s engine. Exiting the vehicle with his brother by his side. He approached the large, double-doors of the huge manor. Vincent glanced back to his younger sibling turning to open the door entering inside his fathers study.

Anna laughed as sister readjusted herself on her bed. Angela was so adorable, it was hard to believe that this cute adorable face Anna was looking into was one was of the most dangerous assassins in the Kouros family. Not that Anna cared. Her sister was her sister. “ Thanks Angela.” Anna hugged her, feeling so happy that today was not about any crime business. Nope in a few hours Anna would be down stair with hundreds of guest celebrating her twentieth birthday. "Get up sleepy head." She smiled throwing a pillow into Angela’s face. "We have two hours to kill before we have to attend my tediously boring birthday celebration with all of father’s depressingly boring diplomatic friends." Anna smiled as she poked Angela’s cheek lightly. "So get up. Get dress and let’s get out of here." She laughed as she looked back over her shoulder at Angela heading towards her massive closet to look for something to wear.

Calec said nothing. He had nothing to say. An uneventful morning was all he expected. He fingered the handle of his pistol quietly and gazed off into nothingness. He was thinking. It wasn't about anything in particular, just about the drug deals they had been doing lately. Assassination orders had slowed to an almost stop. Something was up and he knew it. He absentmindedly got out of the car with his older brother and followed him to the front doors. He followed him inside giving no comment as usual.

Crescendo Hall a.k.a Vassilis Family Home:

"Your son’s have arrived sir." Antonio looked up from one of his select files lying on his desk, as he heard the butler deliver the news that his son’s had finally returned home. "Send them in Benson and make sure no one disturbs us." The Don watched as his butler bowed leaving the room as quietly as he came in. After the door closed the Don Antonio immediately returned his attention back to the papers on his desk. He had been sure early today when he looked over these same papers that he had been wrong. But now that he looked again he knew his first instinct had right. Someone was indeed stealing their shipments in America. The Don sat back in his massive office chair as he lit himself another cigar. He nearly relaxed when the front door to his office opened to admit his son’s. "Glad you two could make it. We have a problem."

Don Nickos LaFontaine Coustaskis smiled closing his eyes as he laughed silently. "Ha, ha.... Yes - foolish, aren't they?" He said and touched his chin. "Celebration you say?" Don LaFontaine asked. "Well then, how about we congratulate them on their newly formed alliance." The head of the Coustaskis family already had a plan since he was suspecting them for quite some time now. Maybe it was clear to other, maybe not - Don LaFontaine's plan was perfect - kidnap Don Giovanni’s daughters and keep his family in check while dealing with the other family, simple but effective in most cases. Don LaFontaine turned around on his chair and looked at Vincenza. "I believe you know what is to be done."

As calm as he sounded, he was actually quite angry - it was a heritage from his father, the Coustaskis family could never stand against the two familes if they united. The sooner they will be destroyed, the better.

"Humph..." such were the words of Giselle Veliuses possible reaction to Dante's earlier statement. It seemed as if she had expected as much as a secret alliance between the Don Antonio Vassilis and the Don Giovanni Kouros. They were the only families in all of Italy who rivaled the Coustaskis in power and control over the mafia kingdom. However, she was not pleased with the information in the least. That she would even have spoken of the possibilities of another heartfelt adventure for the young Consigliere.

Amongst the darkness of the room, Giselle found it strange to avert her gaze from her boss's face to Dante's, and then back. Her position was the usual- leaning against the massive bleak wall behind Don Nickos LaFontaine’s desk. "The two bastard families have finally attempted to make their move..." She commented, in her usual uncaring manner, which sounded more like a curse than a statement.

Angela smothered her laughter as she got out of her sister's bed; her hair was messy bouncing gracefully along with her. "What are you planning to wear, Anna?" She asked as she ran her fingers though her hair in an attempt to fix the short mess she called a suitable hair cut. After succeeding, Angela made her way to her sister in a dancing-like manner, her smile never dropping. "I wonder what I should wear..." She wondered out loud.
