"Devil may cry." The fiery red head raised an eyebrow at the usual sign. She wondered what type of person would give a shop such a name. The red head contemplated over it for a moment. After a while she shrugged giving in to her curiosity. She walked up to the slightly crusted door. For a moment the fiery red head hesitated almost as if she could feel an ominous presence dwelling behind the door. The girl nearly took a step back but chastise herself for her over active imagination. "What could happen?" She smiled pushing the door open stepping inside.

"I figure you go two choices." The silver haired half demon known as Dante look at the assassin who had entered his shop a mere thirty minutes earlier. "You can either walk out my shop and live…" He pulled out one of his two twins guns pointing at his so-called executioner. "Or you can die." He smiled waiting for his demonic friend to answer.

The fiery red head known as Carmon watch as the white haired demon held the gun to the demons head. She stepped back bracing herself for the door. "Should have listened to my instincts." She thought as her hand fumble with the door handle. Carmon began yanking at the door; she knew she had to get out of there before the silver haired guy became known to her presence. "How do I get myself into these things." She whispered. The red head nearly had the door open when a shot rang out of the out of the shopkeeper’s gun. "Oh my god." Carmon watched as the demon shattered into a millions pieces. Then before she could even get her wits together. She found the silver haired murders gazed was now on her.

"Damn you!" The demon yelled giving Dante a hateful expression. "Is that your final answer?" He smiled. The demon growing even angrier by Dante’s words jumped up rushing towards him. "Guess so." He pulled the trigger sending the bastards back to the depths he came from. "Now…" Dante turned placing his gun on the corner of his shoulder. "Do you mind telling me why a saucy little red head just walked into my shop?"

Carmon looked around wondering whom the silver haired man was speaking too. Instantly she recognized his earlier comment remembering that she was indeed a red head. Blushing she gave the dangerous looking shopkeeper an outraged glare. "And I’m wondering what makes a jerk like you so important that an A rank demon would come looking to kill him."

That was a good question. One Dante would fully like an answer too himself. The demon had come in his shop forty minutes earlier. Dante hadn’t thought much on his unwanted guest at first. Mainly thinking that his assassin as a potential customer at the time. He was more then a little entertained when the bastard had tried to cut him. Dante smiled still thinking back to the memory of himself breaking the pathetic demons arms. He stared at the flaming red head. She was smarter then she look. The fact that she had recognized the demon was an A rank made Dante a little suspicious of this enticing female’s identity. "Who are you?"

Carmon looked around the room to see whom he was talking too. She blushed realizing his question had been directed at her. "I’m…" Carmon closed her mouth. She wasn’t sure if she should tell this violent mercenary who she really. It was one thing trusting this man with her true identity and another risking her freedom. Carmon quivered. She never wanted to return back to that place. The punishment she would receive if they caught her. Carmon closed her eye almost imaging the flaming whip they would beat her with, the chains that would keep her a prisoner. She shuddered thinking of all the possibilities of torture they could dish out. Epically…the image of a red haired man popped up inside her mind. Carmon shook her head try to get rid of the frighten image. She couldn’t risk it. Giving out her true name was way to big of a risk. To herself and her freedom. She lifted her head glaring at the mercenary. "Not the it’s any of your business but the names Carrie."

"Carrie?" Pretty name but Dante was pretty sure it wasn’t hers. He smiled thinking how long it had taken the little hottie to come up with that alias. "Carrie huh... cute name." Dante smiled placing his sword back into its hilt. He turned away sitting back down behind his desk. Propping his knees up and his hands behind his head.

Was this punishment? The silver haired assassin known as Lynn thought. She had always been loyal. Never questioning orders. Always killed when told too. Even done the occasional torture session. But this time Lynn was more then willing to throw this job back into the king’s face. She was a deadly assassin not a babysitter. Beside she hadn’t found her target yet. What made the Demonic king think this was a job for her. "Should have sent Axel instead of me." She thought. The brat was scared of him. The silver haired assassin couldn’t help but think that the demon king had something more in store for this girl. Yet. Still…Lynn could help but want to be one of the many demon that were hunting down Sparta’s son the half demon Dante.

Carmon wasn’t amused. In fact she had never seen a ruder gesture. She shook her head. Almost disgusted with amount of arrogances the silver haired man showed. Anybody would think after surviving an attack from a demon like that. A person would a least have the decency to show some manners towards a guest. But not this guy from the look in his eyes he had faced more then his fair share of battles. "Now that you know my name. Do you mind telling me yours?" Her eyes narrowed. Carmon couldn’t put her finger on it but she couldn’t help but think there was way more to this guy then his charming smile.

She wanted to know his name. After the lie she had told him. Dante wasn’t certain he wanted to divulge that little bit of personal information. It wasn’t that he figured that the girl was a threat to him far from it. No more like…he wasn’t sure if he could trust her. Yeah sure she had a cute face and sure her little child like exterior had a certain appeal. But Dante still had a nagging feeling that the girl was hiding something. He wasn’t worried though with a little time Carries so called secret would soon be out. "Dante"

"Dante?" Carmon had heard that name before but where? The name Dante had been mention more then a couple times during her time in the underworld. But for the life of her Carmon could not figure why that name sound so familiar. She looked at him sitting behind his desk. So relaxed that Carmon would have never guessed the guy was checking her out. "Dante?" Where had she heard that name? Carmon known she had but from who. Axel maybe? No Axel was never one to reveal information especially to her. Thinking back if Carmon was ever to receive info down under. She had more luck getting Axel to curse down the demon Sparta and his half demon son Dan… Dante! That who this guy was, he was half human, half demon son of the dark knight Sparta. The defender of the human world and she…she Carmon had found him!

He didn’t look like much but then a lot of the things Carmon had seen since coming up here didn’t live up to her expectations. Besides this was not the time to be picky. She needed help and her silver haired gunslinger seemed to be her only hope. "So it is you Dante son of the dark knight Sparda." Carmon smiled. "I want to hire you."

Dante smiled. She wanted to hire him. It wasn’t funny but slightly amusing. Did the girl think he was stupid? Dante could tell she could handle her fair share of trouble. Which made him think about that little lie she had told him earlier. Obliviously there was something more to her story. He could of course ask questions now but then he would risk his so-called client calming up on him. For now... "So what’s the job?" He would stay back and wait for the information to reveal it self in due time.

"Protection." It was a simple as that. After her escape Carmon more was more then certain that the king had sent one of his agents to retrieve her. She had killed the first two. But she knew the third would be more then she could handle.

Dante eyed Carrie for a sec. He was beginning to open his mouth and ask her to elaborate her response. When he thought better of it. He didn’t want to scare the hottie before he could get the answer he was looking for. "Alright I’ve got nothing better to do. I’ll take your offer." Dante leaned back into the chair as he watch the babes face light up with a smile.

The roaring sound of Lynn’s harley sudden ended as she arked her bike in front of a strange building. After days of of trying to pick up her lost trail she had finally found a lead. Only to lead into a stange city with tons of demons thriving. She could hardly think her prey had come to such a dangerous location as this. At least Lynn thought if she wasn’t looking for something here herself.

Carmon beamed. She had never been more sure that she would get away from the king then at this moment. With Dante’s help she would reach Godiva and obtain her freedom. "So when do we leave?"

Dante returned her grin, slamming the magazine shut. "You need to ask?" He stood up tucking his coat behind him. Grabbed his guns from his desk, then his sword from the glass case. Slinging it over his back. Twirling Ebony casually around his forefinger Dante looked over his shoulder. "Lets rock!"

There was something both scary and exciting in Dante’s look. But no matter how hard she tried to muster up any mistrust to the man before her. She only managed to find herself even more intrigued. Carmon couldn’t help but think that whatever danger that lay before them. Wouldn’t stand a chance now. "Yeah lets go!"

With a whip of his coat,he thrust his leg forward, kicking the doors to his shop open. Dante headed over to his bike. Raising his leg he mounted the leather seats eyeing for Carrie to join him.

Carmon jumped on the back seat of the motorcycle. Preventing herself from falling she rapped her arms around Dante, waiting for the bike to pull off.
